LeaveNoWitness Banned From SAMSwipe Invitational

In an incredible turn of events, South America’s #3 ranked team has recently been struck down with a ban for unfair play within the event’s qualifiers, and is banned from competing in the $15,000 USD finals.

The roster of flexxy17 and brenoxx, signed midway through the season by the well known LeaveNoWitness Gaming, were one of the top competitors throughout the competition, with 2 finals finishes helping to cement themselves in the region’s top few teams.

But in week 3, questions were asked within the scene when a completely unheard of lineup, Cold Heart, appeared on the scene. In their first ever playoffs series, they swept the region’s best, and undefeated, team, Homeless, to send them home outside of the top 8.

People were naturally astounded by the performance, but for weeks, it seemed that Cold Heart had just produced a brilliant series at the right time, as they slotted into the lower seedlings of the invitational.

That was, until yesterday, when the administrative investigation was concluded, and it turned out Cold Heart’s lineup, were LeaveNoWitness’ players, competing under alternate names. Done in an effort to secure more money, and also rattle their competition, both lineups have now been removed from the finals. For the players, flexxy17 and brenoxx, who were considered some of SAM’s top players for many seasons to come, they’ve now been handed a 2-year ban from all competitions with a 1-year ban appeal term.

Seemingly one of the top contenders to 4-time champions Homeless’ throne, and now left with nothing to take home, LeaveNoWitness’ disappointment at these findings was clear in their response, where they quickly dropped the team, and will now be departing from the scene until further notice.
