The majority of these moves have been hinted at in the last few weeks, but the transfers have now been set in stone, with some big movement between North America’s rising teams.
First off, hockser was released from XSET (likely to join Ghost) and in his place, was Rapid, who departed from Shopify Rebellion. With Shopify Rebellion now needing a new third, they leant on Jordan, who had recently been removed from the Torrent lineup, to fill up their roster for Spring. And finally, money was announced to be leaving sup and joining eUnited in another big move.
So, how will this turn out for all parties involved. For XSET, it was known that hockser already had a foot out of the door from the end of Winter, and Rapid in his place is a huge improvement as arguably a top 5 player to miss the major from NA. For Shopify Rebellion, Jordan is a solid player, but Rapid’s shoes will be tough to fill, and they may struggle to keep up at the pace they’d found by the end of Winter. And with money’s move to eUnited, this was the perfect way for a once great organization to rebuild their brand with a rising player, and should see them back in main events in Sprint.
