After an action packed event filled with upsets, event 2 is just around the corner with new teams looking to make their mark on the scene, former champions searching for a return to glory, and new champions hoping to cling onto their throne. Here are our predictions for the next 3 day's play.
Group A:
Wildcard was one of the teams that caused GroundZero to drop out of regional event 1 so early, so you can rest assured that they won't be as unprepared heading into this group stage, likely to comfortably top the group whilst Wildcard's experience as a top level team should see them through in second. As for the second half of the group, neither team played in the last event, but Physicists looked scarily good in closed qualifiers and thus have our bet to come out in third.

Group B:
Despite an uncharacteristically bad championship Sunday last event, Renegades' experience should be enough to see them through to the upper bracket. Bliss looked good in the last event and are likely to still ride their form into this one, whilst 1620 Kings look like one of the few lower level teams poised to break out into top 8, and will therefore make it our of groups fighting, leaving The CEOs stranded in fourth.

Group C:
This group has the potential to get very ugly. 4 teams that made top 12 last regional, and a lot of young players looking to prove their worth. Our pick is for Juicd Bandits to find their peak form that we all know they're capable of to cause the upset over the red hot Forkidden, who still will have the raw mechanical ability to come out on top of the other two. As for Big Goose and Eclipse, both had fairly similar runs to 9th-12th, but our prediction is that Eclipse's performance last week could turn out to be a honeymoon event with that victory over Red Crown, with Big Goose having more high level experience, which should end up with them as victors.

Group D:
Dire Wolves looked unbelievably strong last event, and that should continue here in group D. R!OT will be looking to make a statement over the rest of the pack after their 0-8 performance in playoffs to seal them second place, whilst Antic's experience and recent results should be enough to get them over the line against Trident in a tight series.

Upper Bracket Semi-finals:
Two matchups that promise to be tight, and crucial for these 4 team's success. In the first of the two heavyweight matchups, our choice is for Dire Wolves to continue on their event 1 form to take down the previous OCE champions, sending them to lowers once again, whilst Renegades' shooting and calmness should be able to return to overcome the Bandits.

Early Lower Bracket Rounds:
Early Lower Bracket Rounds:
With many teams fighting for a chance to make the major, the lower bracket promises to be a dog fight following the first round, which will likely see the clear top 8 continue to take shape. In round 2, Forkidden should cruise past the less mechanically gifted Bliss in similar fashion to last event's matchup, whilst R!OT are our pick to rejuvenate their split 1 form to take down fellow contender Wildcard. In the lower quarter finals, Forkidden are likely to prove once again that they're at their best with momentum under their belts, as last event's lower bracket run showed, to take down the Bandits in their rematch, whilst Ground Zero will be hungry to secure a top 4 and breeze past R!OT, who struggle against the top level teams.

Top 4:
Finally, we have our top 4 teams heading into championship Sunday. Lower semi-finals would be a treat, with the rematch that last event sent Ground Zero home packing, but this time, the star-studded champions should have the poise to take down the kids to progress to top 3. In the upper and lower bracket finals, we're making the prediction that the wolfpack's run at the top will come to an end, with the more experienced, and seemingly hungry for rejuvenation, Ground Zero and Renegades breezing past them to set up El Classico for grands, where Ground Zero will start off strongly but fizzle out to Renegades who have had the recent upper hand in multiple set matchups.
