Our second addition to our players interview series comes from OCE's second representative at the LA major in Pioneers, with young prodigy SuperLachie taking the time to provide some insight into himself and the team leading into the event.

1. What got you into competitive Rocket League, and who inspired you in your time before RLCS?

Watching players like Squishy inspired me, so my idols are Squishy and Gimmick.

2. You, Bananahead and Scrub have been competing together for essentially the entirety of your careers, what made you initial team up together and did you envision going this far as a team?

We initially just teamed up to have fun and get better at the game as friends.

3. In the off season however, you guys did momentarily break up as a team, was there a reason behind this, and what helped the team get back together?

We took a break as a team because of individual reasons and inconsistency, but were able to resolve them and come back together as a team.

4. What do you think gives you guys the edge over your competition in OCE, despite being largely outmatched in terms of experience?

We’re just better than them.

5. Which team do you find most difficult to compete against within OCE?

The toughest team to play against is definitely Renegades.

6. What are you looking forward to about the trip over to LA, and do you have any expectations about the team's performance?

Not really any expectations about the performance, just to improve and get the LAN experience. Also looking forward to seeing the team and playing all the international teams.

7. Finally, what was the tipping point in deciding to sign with Pioneers, and how have they helped support your journey thus far?

Pioneers are a great organization who are offering great resources to help us become greater. They‘re really great people and awesome to work with.
